I really like the feature and would love to use it as described. With Alexa Multi-Room Music (MRM), these devices can be grouped with other Echo family devices and other MRM-compatible devices for a whole-home music experience. but that unfortunately lasted only one day. There actually was one day where there was no issues. Alexa is driving me crazy My Everywhere Group (2 Echo Dots second gen, 3 Echo Dots third gen and an Echo Plus first gen has worked perfectly for over a year. I also have reduced the # of speakers to only one Echo and FireTV, same issue then. On this front, Amazon also today introduced the Alexa Voice Service (AVS) multi-room music SDK, which will allow device makers to integrate with the new music feature. SWhen i manually change songs the group stays synchronized, i have rebooted everything multiple times and have also unpaired them and recreated the group. ![]() ![]() i initially got it on 200ms delay which is perfect for the first song but then while it is changing song i can hear a cracking notice in the speakers and the group gets off sync. As soon as I add or create another group with all devices plus the FireTV then after the 2nd song it gets off sync. If you don’t already have the Alexa app, you can download it from the Apple App. When I create a multi room with all 3 Echos then everything is fine.
